Every Strange Idea Has to Start Somewhere.
Spooky Doings began with three people, a shared appreciation for the strange and unusual, and a belief that Lowell was ready for something a little different.
What started as conversations about art, history, spiritualism, oddities, strange happenings, and the people drawn to them became an idea for a community where all of those interests could collide. Spooky Doings is our way of bringing curious people together, supporting the people already making Lowell interesting, and giving everyone permission to get a little weird.
Meet the Weirdos Behind the Doings.
Spooky Doings is the creation of three people with different backgrounds, interests, and perspectives who found common ground somewhere between community building and the wonderfully strange.

MISSION
Keep Your Mind Open. Keep Lowell Weird.
Our mission is to build an inclusive community around the strange, unusual, creative, and unexplained while using that community to support the people and places that make Lowell worth exploring.
We want Spooky Doings to create connections: between artists and audiences, organizations and collaborators, newcomers and longtime residents, local businesses and new customers, and people who might have walked past one another a hundred times without realizing they shared the same wonderfully obscure interest.
